The Heart + Hustle Behind Glitter and Grace

Welcome to Glitter and Grace—a space that’s equal parts color, creativity, and compassion.

This blog was born from my deep love for bright, bold, happy colors—and the joy I feel when I’m surrounded by them. But it’s also rooted in something much deeper: my passion for creating beauty, encouraging others, and raising awareness and acceptance for kids like my amazing autistic son.

Where It All Begins

I don’t follow a perfect creative process—when inspiration strikes, I have to follow it. That might look like thrifted treasures turned into rainbow magic, or a DIY craft designed to help with fine motor skills and creative expression—especially for kids who might struggle to find their creative voice.

My ideas come from real life, real challenges, and the real joy of creating something beautiful out of the everyday mess.

More Than Crafts

Sure, there’s glitter (lots of it). But there’s also grace.

This blog is my emotional outlet, my mission, and honestly? A love letter to all the other moms who are trying their best. It’s for the parents navigating the world of autism, and for anyone who needs a reminder that they’re not alone in the “messy middle.”

I hope teachers find inspiration here too—tools, ideas, and encouragement that make their classrooms and hearts a little brighter.

Let’s Get Real

This space isn’t about perfection. It’s about passion. It’s about embracing the chaos and choosing joy anyway. It’s about creativity as a way of coping, connecting, and celebrating—even when life is messy.

Thank you for being here. Truly. I hope you leave this space feeling seen, inspired, and maybe ready to bust out your glue gun.
